Kathryn has the experience, education, and character that Bay Village needs and deserves in a Mayor.
EXPERIENCE
Experience with the City of Bay Village for 6 years and Rocky River since January 2024, working with residents, businesses, and all levels of government. Procured over $7.8 million in grants for Bay projects and built comprehensve community plans. Private sector work experience through 2017 with small companies and large corporations.
City of Rocky River Director of Planning and Community Development, January 2024 to present

Oversee the Land Use Commissions and represent the city on the Rocky River Chamber of Commerce.

Completing a master plan for Rocky River Park and a Safe Streets for All comprehensive safety action plan
City of Bay Village Project Manager, March 2019 to December 2023

Reported to the Mayor's Office, represented the Mayor's Office on the board of the Shoreline Special Improvement District, the Records Commission, and at regional government meetings.

Implemented and managed the new city website.

Contact person for resident questions about the city's electric or natural gas aggregation programs.
City of Bay Village Administrative Project Leader, January 2018 to March 2019

Reported to both the Law Department and the Mayor's Office, drafted ordinances and established the city grants program.
EDUCATION
Education including two bachelors, a masters, a law degree, and a certificate in Urban Economic Development. Certified planner (AICP) and former certified associcate project manager (CAPM).
CHARACTER
Character defines how a Mayor will serve the community. Kathryn brings integrity, empathy, and clarity to communications, whether it’s one-on-one or with a large group. She listens, and will work for ALL Bay Village residents.
