My Dogs

You might wonder why a candidate for Mayor would include a page about her dogs. Well, you can't really get to know me without them. I've adopted and fostered quite a few.

Pebbles

This is Pebbles. I adopted her from Friendship APL in December 2019. She's a puppy mill rescue, and although she was afraid of everything when she first came home with me, she's now very confident and loves everyone. She even worked as a therapy dog at a retirement home for a while. She's a beabull, half beagle and half bulldog.

Archer

This is Archer. He came to me as a foster dog from Fido's Companion Rescue in July 2023. He and Pebbles got along so well, I had to keep him. He was picked up as a stray in the City of Cleveland, but according to his microchip he started out in West Virginia. I call him my "RBD," or "Regular Brown Dog," but he's half min pin and half assorted bully breeds.

I'm proud to say that I've been able to adopt or foster several senior or terminally ill dogs, and one puppy, mostly through Fido's Companion Rescue. Joy crossed the rainbow bridge the most recently, in November 2024.

Not to leave out the kitties, I've had my share of those, too!

And finally, this is my 12-year-old rescue parakeet, Charlie. She's watching YouTube videos of parakeets on the iPad.
